Eligibility
User Eligibility Requirements
Student Eligibility
To be eligible for our sponsorship programs as a student, you must:
- Be enrolled in a school music program (grades 9-12)
- Have parental/guardian consent if under 18 years of age
- Demonstrate financial need and musical merit
Sponsor Eligibility
To participate as a sponsor, you must:
- Represent a legitimate business or be an individual of legal age
- Agree to our sponsorship guidelines and requirements
- Complete our verification process
The Cadence Project reserves the right to determine eligibility and may refuse service to anyone at our discretion.
Services and Programs
The Cadence Project offers various services and programs designed to connect talented young musicians with sponsors who can help fund their musical opportunities. Our services include, but are not limited to:
Student Registration
Students can create profiles showcasing their musical background, achievements, and sponsorship needs.
Sponsor Registration
Businesses can create profiles indicating their sponsorship preferences and commitment levels.
Matching Services
We facilitate connections between students and sponsors based on needs, preferences, and location.
Program Administration
We oversee the sponsorship process, ensuring transparency and accountability for all parties.
The Cadence Project reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of our services at any time.
User Conduct
When using The Cadence Project's services, you agree to conduct yourself in a manner that respects the rights and dignity of others. You agree not to:
Provide False Information
Submit inaccurate or misleading information in your profile or communications.
Engage in Harassment
Harass, intimidate, or discriminate against any person or organization.
Violate Laws
Use our services for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws.
Misuse Funds
Use sponsorship funds for purposes other than those specified in your agreement.
The Cadence Project reserves the right to investigate and take appropriate action against anyone who violates these conduct guidelines, including removing content, terminating accounts, and reporting to law enforcement authorities.
Intellectual Property
Ownership and Rights
The Cadence Project and its licensors own all rights, title, and interest in and to our services, including all intellectual property rights. This includes but is not limited to our website design, logo, content, and software.
User Content
By submitting content to The Cadence Project (including profiles, testimonials, and images), you grant us:
- A non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, modify, publish, and display such content
- The right to use your name and likeness in connection with the content
